Mind over Matter....NOT!

I am a little flaky today....
~~Click here so you can be flaky too!~~

Anyway...snowbound and on a possible upswing...I thought it was time to start posting again.....

It's been a while since I have posted because I have been "under the weather". I am just getting back into the swing of things...so this Post will be relatively short.
(although, you will find some new art
if you visit my new and improved PARALLELVISIONS page)
But first a few words:

I had such an energetic, sun filled and sun-tanned summer...(MY 'summer' being April through October this year...) that my plight of falling 'under the weather' took me by surprise! Around mid-September, I was totally, completely CONVINCED that I would NOT find myself in a physical slump like I had in the past...EVER AGAIN! I just KNEW...beyond doubt that my Chronic Fatigue and Fibromyalgia that had dictated my physical well-being and UNwell being was a thing of the PAST! I JUST knew it. I felt it.
So...Mind over matter...NOT, I say!

There ARE other reasons for this seemingly unwarranted
recurrence of pain and exhaustion. MIND OVER MATTER IS and isn't as easy as it sounds....because even within our deepest, most sincere feelings/thoughts/beliefs about getting "over the hurdle"... ...no matter what that hurdle might be in your personal life...there ARE other variables that are not in our control. Ugh, I know the phrase..."OUT OF OUR CONTROL" really rubs many of you readers the wrong way. But honestly, what are we really IN CONTROL of in life anyway? How insulting to our EGO that we are NOT in full control of what happens to us. But what we do not understand when our egos get in the way, is that KNOWING that the only control we actually have is to be flexible and open to WHATEVER happens and to not judge our circumstance as unfortunate
So what now?

There must be a reason beyond what I compre
hend at this time for my recent 'fall under'...and it's not a BAD thing. It's just "a thing". Considering the teachings of the Kabbalah, we are made up and ruled by: 50% genetics and 50% environment. And that we have absolutely no choice in the matter...UNTIL we reach a certain stage in development when our DNA begins to override the original imprint. Free Choice is a reality ONLY when we have reached a certain 'level' of equivalence of form to the creator'. This does not happen all at once...it is PROCESS, just like everything else in life. During the process...where steps cannot be skipped....(no matter how we try to skip steps..those steps find us), we can begin to see that how we "FEEL ON THE INSIDE BEGINS TO MANIFEST ON THE OUTER'. As we progress up on this ladder with many 'steps"...we begin to notice that our outer world resembles what we feel the world IS, in it's highest Spiritual truth. That reality is invoked by a simple desire. Not a desire layered with reward or expectation or any human idea of what COULD manifest IF we reach a certain light level. But a pure desire to simply reach GOD...just because we can. Not because of what it may give to us in return...or how we might "use" such immense power to 'fix" our lives...or the world. Therefore the world screen is our gage...and our reaction/response to this world is our filter.

And so...in relevance to my little, singular Christine-life, I can be thrille
d to know that I can feel consistently marvelous...for a full 7 month period! And now......I will try not to interfere...with my human negative OR positive thought...but simply let my DNA work out the rest of it. Step by step.
Doesn't sound much like a cure for what "ails me", you say?
No...it is NOT.
But it is the HEALING.

~~~~~~~~~
Now, I would like to share some wondrous things with you.
First, my most recen
t favorite movie :-)
Keep in mind that the true Essence of the movie is not captured in any of the promos I have seen. So, if you rent it...you may be surprised.
Click for great multi-media promos.
Bee Season
Also for all you grown-up kids out there... take just 20 minutes or so to watch my all time favorite 'Shamanic Movie'.
Well, at least...I see it that way!
I really love the idea that (Bruce Lipton says this and Deepak too I think) we have free will, but they point out, that don't use it--and I do think as you say, that we have to get to a certain point to realize it, and when we do, it's almost always a spiritual LEAP. We don't know that we have choices, but we insist on freedom from without rather than within.
Another idea I like which goes along with what you're saying --I think---is, some celluar biologists are saying that the DNA is just a blueprint, its not a fait a complis- but we, the conscious self, soul, etc, are the architects. We can choose to go with the plan, or depart from it and make something else....!!
I love that! No if only I could figure out how to do it.
And honey, if you managed to have 7 months of feeling constantly marvelous, I want another post on the secret to that!!!!! I think you're a sunshine girl--Indiana is bad, but good thing you are not in Green Bay anymore!
PS great music...the playing is exquisite.
Hi! I actually meant to respond to your question on the comment section of Laura's blog - the one about not having a pantry. I DON'T (WAAAAAH!) But I DO have an old heavy-duty bookshelf I use as a pantry. Not as good but it serves the purpose. I see we share Fibromyalgia. Fun, isn't it? NOT!!! I have Systemic Lupus & learned a few years ago that almost everyone with S.L. ALSO gets Fibromyalgia. It's like those dumb info-mercials: You get Lupus. But WAIT! There's MORE! If you call right now, you will get the added suffering and sleepless nights of Fibro! LOL! I bookmarked your blog to read on a regular basis. I promise not to ALWAYS comment so much!
My favorite part of this post is where you write "not because of what it may give to us in return...or how we might "use" such immense power to 'fix" our lives...or the world." This is so true and it can be easy to fall in the trap of "reward". It's hard to get to the place where the reward is the connection or living on the outside as we are becoming on the in. We are trained from an early age that power must be used to make change, yet change is what makes power and one of my favorite (leftover religious science) thoughts is the idea that we have to be independent of the good or bad thoughts regarding things, but now years later it's proving to be crucial because it's the key to remaining "conscious" during this stage of evolution, which...I happen to think sucks at times, but is actually the bee's knees as far as the adventure goes!
This reminds me…do you remember when I was startled because I was meditating with my eyes closed and afterwards when I OPENED them, expecting the “normal” experience of it being lighter and it wasn’t…it was darker-and you said that’s because it was lighter on the inside than the outside??? I loved that…it was one of those cool things that made me aware of how everything we think we know is changing…
